Dee and Karen Fedrick of Luling announce the engagement of their daughter Jessica Lynn Fedrick to Robert Mitchel Bate, son of Steven and Mercedes Truxillo of Paradis.
The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m. on March 4 at the Des Allemands Mennonite Church of Des Allemands.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Thelma and Norman Rousselle of Luling, and Rita Dufrene Matherne and the late Jerry Amos Matherne of LaRose.
Jessica is a 2002 graduate of Hahnville High School.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Edwin Truxillo and the late Lillian Pena and Antonio Esteban Bate of Manila, Phillipanes, and Elaine Chiasson Truxillo of Gheens.
Robert is a 2002 graduate of Hahnville High School. He is employed by the U.S. Coast Guard.
