The American Association of Public Health Dentistry presented Nicole Falgoust, of Des Allemands, with the Community Dentistry and Dental Public Health Award.
This award is presented to a senior dental hygiene student who has demonstrated special interest and achievements in community dentistry and dental public health.
Falgoust received a bachelor of science degree in dental hygiene from the University of Louisiana Monroe on May 17. She is the daughter of Louis and Laurie Falgoust of Des Allemands.
