Dow’s Faucheux gets regional promotion

Tommy Faucheux, currently Dow St. Charles Operations Public Affairs Manager, has been named Southeast Region State Government Affairs Leader.

In this new role, Faucheux will be responsible for Government Affairs in the southeast region of the United States, which includes Louisiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, and other southeastern states.

Faucheux will work with the state legislature, the governor’s office and many other local and parish officials to advance public policies that support Dow’s southeast region operations and its employees, retirees, shareholders and customers.

Along with his new role, Faucheux will retain strategic public affairs responsibilities for St. Charles Operations continuing to support community success efforts and strategic relationships.

This assignment was official on June 1, but transition activities began immediately after the announcement on May 29.

Faucheux joined Dow in 2007 as employee communications manager before assuming all public affairs responsibilities for St. Charles Operations in 2008.

From 2010-2011 he also worked as the program manager for Dow’s North America STEM initiatives.

Faucheux holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications/Public Relations with a minor in Political Science from Loyola University in New Orleans.
