Dental center in Boutte will “cater to cowards,” offer same-day exams

Louisiana Dental Center has announced the grand opening for its newest dental facility in Boutte.

The grand opening is scheduled for Saturday, May 29 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with the ribbon cutting set for noon at 14243 Highway 90 East.

Dr. Joseph Lacoste Jr. is the founder of the practice and the primary owner of each location.

His philosophy is to provide gentle, quality, comprehensive care (including emergency care) to a broad cross-section of the population at a reasonable cost.

The Boutte location is the eighth for Louisiana Dental with other locations in New Orleans, Metairie, Raceland, Covington, Slidell, Hammond and Bogalusa.

The centers accept most insurance plans and Medicaid.

The company’s mottos are: “We cater to cowards” and “We’ll see you…TODAY!”

Dr. Lacoste emphasizes that although the center will be working out of trailers the most modern technology, including  digital x-rays and electronic handpieces, will be utilized.

Also the staff with highly skilled dentists and technicians will provide top-notch service.

The center’s operators insist that the trailers are temporary and will be replaced by a modern state-of-the-art facility to be built on the same site.
