Here’s a sneak peek at just a few of the hats up for auction at the River Region Arts & Humanities Council Fundraiser
Get ready to raise that bid with hand painted-fans during the auction at the River Region Arts & Humanities Council fundraiser, Denim & Diamonds, May 3 at the Destrehan Plantation Mule Barn on River Road in Destrehan beginning at 6:30 p.m.
So, shine up your belt buckles, bolas and boots. Dust off your finest cowboy hats and blue-jean jackets and get ready to party for a cause.
Under the direction of event chair, Sandra Chaisson, a fun-filled evening is planned.
The festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. with appetizers, a signature drink the Bourbon Spur and music by Gal Holiday, a western swing rockabilly headliner.
A chuck-wagon style dinner will be served at 7:45 p.m. followed by a live auction – including the hats pictured, raffles, door prizes, music and more.
