Book Review: The Mist

Reviewed by Todd Porche

The Mist is written by Stephen King, who has written many other books. The story is about a town in Maine named Brighton, where a mysterious mist and scary creatures come and scare everyone in the town.

The main character, David Drayton and his friends and family in the town of Brighton are overcome by a mysterious mist. This mist is not just like fog. People are not able to see in it, and there are vicious monsters. The people in the town are exiled into a supermarket. The people do not know what to do, so one by one they try to go to their cars in the parking lot. As each person goes to his or her car, the mist and the creatures pick them up and kill them.

The Mist by Stephen King was a good book. I enjoyed how the author described the action. I also like all the scary parts, and it had me on the edge of my seat throughout the book.
