America Again by Stephen Colbert is a witty continuation of political satire that is Colbert’s Show on Comedy Central: The Colbert Report.
Published in 2012, America Again is Colbert’s advice for how America can regain the greatest that it never lost. It is a humorous, inspiring, intelligent, and sometimes-unintelligible explanation of the issues that America is facing as well as how solutions.
After reading through and accepting the Terms and Conditions of the book, readers will find themselves ready to delve into the substance of the book. Throughout, Colbert talks about American exceptionalism, jobs, Wall Street, and the judicial system, and he gives great evidence towards the importance of issues involving America. Following these important topics, Colbert continues with a chapter on easy solutions, which Colbert spells out easily for the American people.
In my opinion, America Again is a must-have for anyone who finds humor in politics. More specifically, it is a must-have for those who enjoy Stephen Colbert’s other works.
