BOUTTE – The Hahnville High School counseling department and the School-To-Career Department recently hosted “Career Day” for the freshmen.
Business and professional leaders met with the students to orient them toward various occupations, including: educational requirements, explanation of entry-level requirements, job description, pluses and minuses of their work, job availability, top and local companies in the field, salary range, personal insights into the occupation and questions and answers.
