The St. Charles Herald-Guide’s 2008 Camera Shootout photography contest is drawing near the end, which means that one lucky parish resident is close to winning the $500 grand prize.
In the Jan. 1, 2009 issue of the St. Charles Herald-Guide. all 12 monthly winners from 2008 will be published one last time and voted on by readers for two weeks.
As a reminder, here are the voting rules.
Email votes are the only votes accepted. Votes phoned in will not be counted, and remember, that only one vote per email address is accepted. Multiple email votes from the same address will be deleted.
The only photos eligible for the $500 grand prize are photos that were chosen as monthly winners. If your photo was only chosen as a weekly winner, it will not be included in the final 12.
Polls close on Jan. 15, with the overall winner announced on in the Jan. 22, 2009 issue.
Photographers can continue to submit original photos for the 2009 competition which begins on Jan. 8, 2009.
