The St. Charles Parish Parks and Recreation Department will offer baseball for ages 5-15, softball for ages 5-16, t-ball for ages 5-6, track and field and tennis for ages 8-14 this spring, according to a press release from the department.
Registration is available online and includes a registration fee. Residents who register after Jan. 25 must pay a late registration fee.
St. Charles Parish residents must register with their affiliated booster club if they want to play baseball, softball or t-ball. Registering with the wrong booster could impact roster placement and uniform orders.
Residents in Destrehan and St. Rose should register with the Destrehan Booster Club. Residents in Ama, Hahnville, Luling and Killona should register with the Luling Booster Club. Residents in Bayou Gauche, Boutte, Des Allemands, Mimosa and Paradis should register with the Mimosa Booster Club and residents in New Sarpy, Norco and Montz should register with the Norco Booster Club.
Practice for tennis, softball, baseball and t-ball will begin in February, with the season lasting from March-May. AAU Track and Field will begin after a March tryout, with its season taking place from May to August.
