Arrests

  • Kayte Cummings, 27, of 514 Milling Ave. in Luling, was arrested Oct. 25 and charged with identity theft under $300 and theft up to $750.
    Greg Gonzales, 32, of 319 Ormond Meadows Drive in Destrehan, was arrested Oct. 23 and charged with criminal trespass and theft of a motored vehicle $1,500 or more.
    Jenaye Howard, 20, of 157 Bon Jovi Blvd. in Gray, was arrested Oct. 24 and charged with theft of a motored vehicle $1,500 or more.
    Jason Barrette, 42, of 210 Savannah Drive in Luling, was arrested Oct. 23 and charged with unauthorized entry to an inhabited dwelling.
    Daren Dufrene, 52, of 136 Frickey Lane in Des Allemands, was arrested Oct. 22 and charged with theft of a motored vehicle $1,500 or more.
    Calvin Smith Jr., 31, of 1551 London Cross Road in Harvey, was arrested Oct. 22 and charged with proper signal to turn, contraband in correctional center, possession of marijuana (second offense), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of hydrocodone and possession of a legend drug. He was a fugitive (four counts).
    Jousha Verdin, 36, of 115 Cypress Lane in Des Allemands, was arrested Oct. 22 and charged with possession of methamphetamine (two counts) and possession of drug paraphernalia. He had an attachment.

Incidents

  • A cell phone was taken that was left behind at the bar at the Pit Stop Saloon in Luling on Oct. 25.
    A vehicle parked on James Drive in St. Rose was burglarized on Oct. 25.
    A motor to a pressure washer pump was stolen from the driveway of a victim’s Calcagno St. residence in Montz on Oct. 24.
    A purse containing miscellaneous items was stolen from a vehicle parked at a Magnolia Ridge Road address in Boutte on Oct. 24.
    A 2013 GMC truck was taken from a 15165 Highway 90 address in Paradis on Oct. 22.
    A camper trailer was stolen from an Allie Lane address in Destrehan on Oct. 22.
    Several stones (jewelry) were stolen from a Carolyn Drive address in Destrehan on Oct. 22.
