Sheriff’s Reports – April 25, 2019

Suspects are innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.

Arrests

  • Tavon Walker, 38, of 718 East Harding St. in New Sarpy, was arrested April 16 and charged with battery of a dating partner.
  • Jonathan West, 27, of 4161 Beaune Drive in Kenner, was arrested April 16 and charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile (four counts), contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile while committing a felony act (four counts), misdemeanor sexual battery (four counts), oral sexual battery and sexual battery (15 counts).
  • Jess Coon, 23, of 324 Ormond Oaks Drive in Destrehan, was arrested April 16 and charged with distribution of cannabinoids/synthetic marijuana and possession with intent to distribute synthetic marijuana.

  1. When will Blacks get an apology for the many lynchings they were(are) subjected to? Any lynching isn’t right but the unjust and pure entertainment of lynchings in AMERICA of a people is unforgivable and an abomination to God. The 3 Italians is terrible but is there even a count of Blacks falsely accused or just because they were Black lynchings in Louisiana, Mississippi or in America as a whole? Why even worry about how many, they were just Blacks, who cares, right?
