Arrests
• Lamar Simmons, 30, of 512 Julie Street in Hahnville, was arrested April 17 and charged with possession of firearm/carry concealed weapon by convicted felon, disturbing the peace, simple criminal damage to property and resisting an officer. He was a fugitive (two counts).
• Jonathan Pinela, 44, of 456 Prestwick Court in Melbourne, Florida, was arrested April 17 and charged with theft.
• Desmond Britton, 21, of 2729 Huey P. Long Avenue in Gretna, was arrested April 15 and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and traffic violation. He was a fugitive (two counts).
• Travis Tucker Jr., 27, of 435 Barreca Street in Norco, was arrested April 15 and charged with possession of marijuana and traffic violation. He had an attachment.
• Melanie Schuff, 48, of 320 ½ North in Metairie, was arrested April 15 and charged with possession of marijuana, disturbing the peace and resisting an officer.
• Stanley Perry, 31, of 222 Post Street in Killona, was arrested April 13 and charged with hit and run driving with no personal injury, traffic violation, possession or distribution of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. He had an attachment.
