Person of interest sought in the investigation of deceased man

Deputies are asking for assistance in locating a person of interest, Todd Adams, a 45-year-old white male from St. Rose.

The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office has reported that last night, May 20, at approximately 11:30 p.m. deputies with the department responded to the report of a deceased male located in a parking lot in the 100 block of St. Rose Avenue in St. Rose.

The deceased has been identified as Marlon Vinette, a 50-year-old St. Rose resident.

Deputies are asking for assistance in locating a person of interest, Todd Adams, a 45-year-old white male from St. Rose. This incident is still under investigation.

Anyone with any information, including citizens in the area with home surveillance or Ring camera systems, are asked to review their video footage and to contact Detective Amanda Buchanan with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office at 985-783-6807, 985-783-1135 or abuchanan@stcharlessheriff.org if they have any information or observed any suspicious activity that may be related to the incident.

UPDATE: St. Charles Parish Sheriff Champagne announced that Todd Anthony Adams was arrested. Adams is being charged with LRS 14:31
Manslaughter and LRS 14:130.1 Obstruction of Justice.
