Two boys are being sought by the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office in connection with the theft of 12 cell phones from Walmart in Boutte.
The two entered the store at 4:20 a.m. on Monday and forced their way into a glass front cell phone cabinet located in Walmart’s electronic department. They made off with 23 cell phones, with a combined value of $13,600, and ran out of the store.
Detectives believe the boys were picked up by a third suspect who was driving a black four-door sedan that resembled a Nissan Altima.
The Sheriff’s Office released photos of the three suspects, who were caught on camera entering Walmart.
