A town meeting is scheduled to review the proposed Cypress View Subdivision, a project that could have more than 200 lots in Hahnville.
“We look forward to meeting everyone and giving feedback from the neighbors and others who have questions or concerns about our work and who we are,” said Clifton Guidry of Lafayette-based Guidry Land Development.
The proposed subdivision site is the Fashion Golf Club, 223 Joe Louis Lane in Hahnville.
The meeting is set for 6 p.m. June 8, said St. Charles Parish Planning Director Michael Albert. The location has not yet been determined, but it could the Hahnville Fire Station.
The initial project calls for 71 lots, but Albert said the developer is discussing revisions that could put the project at more than 200 lots “across the whole piece of Fashion Golf Club.”
Guidry said they are uncertain about the total number of lots that will come with the project at this time, but expect to have plans completed by the town hall meeting.The Planning Commission tabled the initial plat, which does call for up to three phases.
Albert declined to comment further on the project until the town hall meeting is held and plans are reviewed by the Planning Commission.
