NEW ORLEANS – An RV tradition in the south – the 17th annual New Orleans Spring RV Show & Camping – will showcase over 200 makes and models of recreational vehicles at the Pontchartrain Center, Feb. 29 through March 2.
Show hours are Friday 12-8, Saturday 10-7 and Sunday 11-5.
Admission is $7 for adults, $2 for kids 6-15 and free to children under 6.

BOUTTE – There will be an informational meeting about cheerleading and mascot tryouts for the 2008-09 school year on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 6 p.m. in the Hahnville High School auditorium.
Those interested in trying out who are unable to attend the meeting should contact Ms. Candice Reed at creed@stcharles.k12.la.us after the meeting to obtain a packet of tryout information.
A mandatory instructional workshop will be held on April 7 through 10 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the school gym.
Tryouts will be held April 11 at 3 p.m.
