DESTREHAN – Saturday, April 10, the east bank location of the German Coast Farmers’ Market, at Ormond Plantation, will feature a representative from the St. Charles Parish Library who will discuss library programs, sell an assortment of used books, and give away free gifts.
Deniese Zeringue will also be on hand for “Taste of the Season,” sponsored by the LSU Cooperative Extension Service, to promote healthy eating and the tasting of fruits & vegetables that are in season. Arts and crafts will also be featured. The market is open from 8 a.m. to noon.
