DESTREHAN – The Festival of Charity, Inc. will hold its annual pageants and butterfly extravaganza on Sunday, April 11 at Ormond Plantation in Destrehan. The theme this year is “Beauties in Bloom.”
Pageant contestants can register at the door 30 minutes prior to each division. There will be pageant divisions for baby and youth boys ages 0-18 months and 18-36 months, and baby and youth girls ages 0-7 months, 8-14 months, 15-23 months, 2-3 years, 4-5 years, 6-7 years and 8-9 years. All divisions accept special children as princes and
princesses. There will also be a pageant for junior, teen and miss divisions for girls ages 10-12 years old who are Louisiana residents, have never been married or conceived a child.
