MARDI GRAS

Des Allemands Mardi Gras parade

DES ALLEMANDS – The parade rolls Feb. 18 at 2 p.m. with the Carnival’s official dance coming a week earlier, on Feb. 10 at the Father Mac Community Center at St. Gertrude Church in Des Allemands. Cost: $30. Info: 985-758-2161.

Krewe of Lul releases meeting schedule

LULING – The Krewe of Lul parade is scheduled to roll at noon on Feb. 17. Until then, all riders will meet every Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the Ramada Hotel located at 13889 River Rd.

Farmer’s Market holds kiddie parade

DESTREHAN – The German Coast Farmer’s Market invites all kids 8 and under to decorate their wagons and participate in the Kid Krewe de Market parade on Saturday, Feb. 10 at 10 a.m. at Ormond Plantation.

Regional quilting group holds meeting
