PARADIS – The St. Charles Parish Arts Guild is sponsoring a three-day “Functional Art with Acrylics” workshop featuring artist Madeleine Neske, the commercial art and fine arts instructor known for co-creating the New Orleans nonprofit “Young Artists, Young Aspirations” Program.
Most recently, she became an art instructor for St. Charles Parish Schools. Neske will be focusing on using acrylics to create 3-D impressionistic pieces that change functional objects into museum-quality fine art. The workshop will be held at St. Andrew’s Church in Paradis.
