The River Parishes Tourist Commission (RPTC) will host its first River Region Tourism Summit on Sept. 17 at the St. John Community Center from 1 – 5:30 p.m.
Members of the public, local business owners, elected officials, hospitality and tourism stakeholders and regional tourism agencies are invited to attend. Interested parties are asked to register at no charge until Friday, Sept. 13. After that, a $25 registration fee will be required to attend the Summit.
There is no charge to attend the RPTIG workshop and the Taste of Tourism event that same evening. The Summit will close with a general session featuring Lt. Gov. Billy Nungesser and RPTC Executive Director Buddy Boe. To register, visit https://visitnopc.com/.
