The Norco Manufacturing Complex will be participating in a joint training exercise with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office from 8 a.m. until noon Sept. 12. The purpose of the exercise is to test the site and area agency responses to multiple emergencies.
The main activity from this exercise will be noticed on River Road between Apple Street and Prospect Avenue. There will also be signage on River Road that reads “Caution: Sheriff’s Office Training.” In addition, traffic may be periodically stopped to allow access of emergency response vehicles.
Please remember that this is a controlled training exercise.
