The Da’Ja Thomas’ Destrehan High School senior project Shatter the Silence benefit to promote awareness for domestic violence will be held 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Oct. 24 at the Satellite Center, 85 Judge Edward Dufresne Parkway, Luling. Tickets are $20.
The event will include a meal with chicken with bacon spinach pasta, chocolate lava cake with coffee ice cream prepared by the St. Charles Parish Public School Culinary Program.
