The Unity in the Community youth rally will be held Saturday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Boutte Park, 234 Boutte Estates Drive. The public is invited to the gathering, which is aimed at promoting spiritual awareness.
The First Baptist Church of Paradis and Triumph Baptist Church on Paul Maillard Road are co-sponsoring the rally. Motivational speaker “Dr. Truth” Dana Andrus will be guest speaker. Alpha Daughters of Zion will discuss domestic abuse.
