DESTREHAN – The National Day of Prayer is scheduled for 11:45 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 2 at the St. Charles Parish Courthouse in Hahnville, located at 15045 River Road.
The public is invited to join with thousands of others around the United States in prayer for national, state and local government and its leaders. Worship music will be led by Troy Dancer, pastor of worship at First Baptist Church in Luling.
Pastors from local churches will petition God in prayer for government leaders and workers, service providers within our community, the education system, churches and families. Refreshments will be served.
There will be some seating available, but if you have a comfortable lawn chair organizers encourage you to bring it.
