ST. CHARLES PARISH – St. Charles Parish Public Libraries have many opportunities for kids and teens to make a special holiday gift for themselves or loved ones.
The following classes will take place at parish library branches in the week leading up to Christmas:
•Thriller Thursday Holiday Crafts, Dec. 16 at 6 p.m., West Regional Library: Participants will make snowflakes, holiday picture boxes, ornaments and wreathes. For ages 10 and up.
•Tween Christmas Crafts, Dec. 16 from 6-7 p.m., East Regional Library: Participants will make marbleized magic ornaments or jigsaw ornaments. For ages 8-12.
•Teen Christmas Jewelry, Dec. 17 at 3 p.m., Norco Branch Library: Participants will make special Christmas-themed jewelry to wear themselves or give to someone special. For ages 13 and up.
•Christmas Crafts for Kids, Dec. 22 from 11 a.m.-noon, St. Rose Branch Library: Participants will make their own ornament. For children in kindergarten through 3rd grade. Reservations required.
•Groovy Photo Cubes for Teens, Dec. 22 at 2 p.m., Hahnville Branch Library: Participants will make a colorful foam photo cube. For ages 12 and up.
All library classes are free. Call the library branch where the class is taking place for more information or to sign up.
