DES ALLEMANDS – St. Gertrude’s Louisiana Catfish Festival is sponsoring a Lenten fish fry every Friday in Lent.
There will be Lenten fish fry dinners at St. Gertrude Catholic Church on Friday, March 28 and Friday, April 11 from 4 thru 8 p.m. The dinners are sponsored by the Louisiana Catfish Festival.
Tickets can be purchased at the door. The menu is shrimp stew or shrimp spaghetti with fried catfish, bread and dessert for $7 per plate. There will be additional desserts and drinks available to purchase. Diners have the option to eat in or take their meals to go.
The event will be held at St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church located at 17292 Louisiana 631 in Des Allemands.
