NEW SARPY – The St. Charles Parish Department of Community Services will present a household energy conservation workshop at 10 a.m. on Oct. 16 at the Arterbury Building, 14565 River Road.
The public is invited to attend, but space is limited, so an RSVP is required. Those interested should call 985-764-7944.
Demonstrations will include information about energy-efficient light bulbs and the value of caulk to seal window and doorway leaks. Residents will also learn simple tips of fan usage to cut back on air conditioning and daily energy usage. Attendees will receive promotional items at the close of the workshop.
