LULING – The St. Charles Parish Special Education Department is hosting a “Spring Forward With Community Resources For Individuals With Disabilities” on Tuesday, March 25 from 5 to 7 p.m.
The guest speakers will be Wesley Cagle, director of South Central Louisiana Human Services Authority, formerly known as Office of Citizens with Developmental Disabilities (OCDD), and Raven LaBiche, program coordinator for the Arc of St. Charles.
Some of the topics to be discussed will include the eligibility and entry process, flexible family funds program, waivers, planning for out of school transition and how to get and maintain a job. Babysitting services will be provided. Call Angela Grant at (985) 785-6289, ext. 260 to reserve a spot.
The event will take place at the Professional Learning Center located at 12727 U.S. 90 in Luling.
