LAPLACE – The Arc of St. Charles in partnership with the Louisiana DD Council invites residents to attend an informational session about employment of persons with disabilities. “Discovering the Benefits of Competitive Employment” will focus on dispelling the fears and reducing the barriers of employment for persons with disabilities.
The session is aimed at parents of children ages 14 and up and adults with disabilities. The event will be held at the LaPlace Library, 1801 W. Airline Highway, on Feb. 22 from 10 a.m. to noon. Refreshments will be served.
