Hunters and fishermen speak up on Lake Salvador saltwater intrusion at CPRA meeting

LULING – A meeting is being held on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 11 a.m. by the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority concerning saltwater intrusion killing habitat in the Salvador Area.

Local fisherman are asking others to join them to tell the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority and the Corps of Engineers to open the Davis Pond Diversion to keep saltwater out. The meeting will be held at the Lindy Boggs Conference Center at 2045 Lakeshore Drive, Room #256 in New Orleans.
