ST. CHARLES PARISH – The St. Charles Sheriff’s Office will host a hunter education field day class on Oct. 25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The class will be held at the firing range behind the Nelson Coleman Correctional Center on Hwy. 3127.
Participants must complete the Hunter Safety Education Class beforehand. This class is available online at www.wlf.louisiana.gov/hunting/education/homestudyprogram. State law requires that all individuals born on or after Sept. 1, 1969 must obtain a hunting license prior to hunting in Louisiana.
