HOUMA – Held in the downtown Courthouse Square, located at 7856 Main Street, the cooking will begin at 7 a.m. in Houma’s chili cook-off. There will be two categories-traditional and nontraditional chili. Cost per team to enter the cook-off is $125.
Admission to the cook-off will be $5 per person and will allow visitors inside at noon to taste the special recipes for themselves. Visitors will be allowed to eat an unlimited amount of chili. For more information, contact Anne Picou (985) 873-6408.
