HAHNVILLE – All incoming Hahnville High School freshmen are encouraged to attend “Tiger Kick-Off 2010” on Saturday, Aug. 7 from 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. at HHS. The event is a one-day orientation for all incoming 9th grade students that is led by the HHS students and staff. Students should arrive between 8:30 a.m. – 8:45 a.m. for registration and have transportation available for 2 p.m. dismissal.
Lunch will be provided. Students will get acquainted with their student mentors, meet teachers and administration, tour the school, learn the 2010 kick-off dance and get “expert tips.” Please dress in comfortable, casual clothing (jeans or shorts, comfortable shoes, etc.) as this will be a day filled with activities that will require movement.
Parents of incoming freshmen are invited to attend a parent informational meeting in the Hahnville High School auditorium from 9-10 a.m.
