ST. CHARLES PARISH – In collaboration with the Animal Shelter and Destrehan Animal Hospital, the St. Charles Humane Society is holding the 2011 Rabies Run on April 3 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the East and West Bank Bridge Parks.
Pets will be able to get their yearly rabies vaccine for $10 and microchips for $20. Pet owners can also receive a free bag of pet food with proof of vaccine at the old Winn Dixie location on Paul Maillard Road.
