NEW ORLEANS – Free health services will be provided to uninsured persons by the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics on July 3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.
Patients will receive primary medical care and will be connected to the safety-net providers in the area as well as additional resources. Those who have no insurance coverage are invited to the clinic. Those who receive benefits from Medicaid, Medicare or Veterans Affairs are not eligible.
The Ernest N. Morial Convention Center is located at 900 Convention Center Blvd. in New Orleans.
Those in need of care can call (800)340-1301 to register for the clinic. The clinic is also seeking volunteers to help with its operations.
