DESTREHAN – The St. Charles Parish Library invites teens ages 12 and up to attend a free alternative fashion workshop as part of the Louisiana Teen Reading program on Friday, June 20 at 10:30 a.m.
Kerry Fitts, an artist and educator from Gretna, will lead the workshop.
Participants will learn sewing techniques using recycled materials and environmentally-friendly fabrics as well as hand silk-screened images to create original summer fashions.
