LULING – David Pichon, County Agent with the LSU AgCenter’s Cooperative Extension Service in St. Charles Parish, has announced that the LSU AgCenter will present a Deer Food Plot Seminar on Tuesday, August 24. The seminar will be held at the VFW Hall on Angus Drive in Luling. The doors will open at 5 p.m. followed with a meal at 6 p.m. The program will begin around 7 p.m. The focus of the seminar will be on Fall Food Plot Plantings for Whitetail Deer as well as Soil Fertilization and Deer Health and Management.
Donations of $10 will be accepted to help pay for the seminar costs. There will also be a raffle for a gun as well as a 50/50 drawing. There is no pre-registration for the seminar.
