The River Region Ballet will again present the The Nutcracker at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 15 and at 2 p.m. Dec. 16. All performances are at Destrehan High School auditorium, No. 1 Wildcat Lane, Destrehan. Tickets are $20 presale.
As a special gift to the children of the community, a one-hour children’s matinee will be held at 2 p.m. Dec. 15. Tickets are $15 presale. A special Sugar Plum Fairy Party will follow the performance with the audience invited to join the Sugar Plum Fairy on stage to experience “The Kingdom of Sweets” firsthand. Each young audience member will receive a special gift to remember their Nutcracker experience.
