Court Appointed Advocates volunteer training to begin

ST. CHARLES PARISH – The St Charles Parish CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) program needs volunteers to be the voice for children in the community who have been victims of abuse and/or neglect. CASA depends on volunteers to make a difference in the lives of these innocent children. There are currently two children in St Charles Parish waiting for a CASA.

The next CASA training for St Charles parish volunteers will begin on June 14 at 5:30 p.m. at the Child Advocacy Services office, 816 Paul Maillard Road in Lulling. To participate in this training you will need to complete the CASA volunteer application.

To obtain application or for more information please contact Jordana Matherne at 985 785-5226 (e-mail jmatherne@childadv.net) or Connie Stein at 225 647-2005 (e-mail cstein@childadv.net).
