Cooking for a Cause, Gradoux on the Bayou, will be held 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 19 at West Bank Bridge Park in Luling. The fundraiser will benefit Rebecca Tassara and Ann Martinez by Dat Dads Club. It will be a Pastalaya cook-off with public judging.
There will be a $10 entry, for adults, kids 7-12 is $5 and 6, and under are free. Snowballs, daiquiris and beer will be sold. There will be face painting and a DJ.
