Christmas Parade

NORCO – The Norco Civic Association is inviting the River Parishes community to enjoy a black and gold Christmas this year when it presents its annual Christmas parade.

Preparations are under way for the Norco Christmas Parade, which will roll on Dec. 5 at 2 p.m. Paying tribute to the Super Bowl champion, the New Orleans Saints, this year’s theme is “Heaux, Heaux, Heaux Dat! A Black and Gold Christmas.”

The parade committee welcomes a variety of participants. Entry forms are available at the parade website, www.norconoel.com. Every entrant must fill out and return an entry form.

Following the parade, a community celebration will be held at the Capital One Bank parking lot, culminating with the lighting of the community Christmas tree. Residents may bring their cameras to take free photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus. For information, visit the website or call the Norco Civic Association at (985)764-9696.
