DESTREHAN – Due to inclement weather, the Allemands Elementary Cajun Dancers will perform at the German Coast Farmers Market at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 11. This traveling group of second graders will perform authentic Cajun dances, handed down from the Acadians of the 18th century.
The German Coast Farmers Market is open every Saturday morning from 8 a.m. until noon at Ormond Plantation in Destrehan and every Wednesday afternoon from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. at the Winnwood Shopping Center on Paul Maillard Road in Luling.
