DESTREHAN – The German Coast Farmer’s Market celebration of Arbor Day will be held on Saturday, Jan. 17 on Ormond Plantation on River Road in Destrehan from 8 a.m. to noon.
One thousand tree seedlings of various Louisiana Oak, Pine and Cypress species will be offered to the public for pick up at the market. The give away by the St. Charles 4-H Junior Leadership club.
