An equipment failure at the Shell in Norco caused the release of unknown amounts of butadiene, hydrogen sulfide and benzene, according to a report submitted to the U.S. Coast Guard National Response Center.
It was in the last few days of August when Todd Robicheaux’s wife Sarah got a phone call from the emergency room at a nearby hospital. Robicheaux thought a friend was playing a joke on them.
