NEW ORLEANS – As one of the country’s top-ranked zoos, Audubon Zoo offers an exotic mix of animals from around the globe, engaging natural habitats, lush gardens and resting spots, the mystical Louisiana swamp and ‘hands-on’ animal encounters.
And if you’re a Louisiana resident, you can see it all for half the regular price throughout August. That’s right all state residents will received discounted admission through Aug. 31.
With innovative natural habitat exhibits and an animal collection ranging from the unique white alligators to the extraordinary white tigers, Audubon Zoo has become one of the Gulf South’s favorite family gathering spots.
In addition to the amazing animals, exhibits, live animal presentations and hands-on animal encounters you can ride the Endangered Species Carousel, Simulator and Swamp Train. You can also shop in the zoo’s fabulous Audubon Marketplace gift shop.
