With innovative natural habitat exhibits and an animal collection ranging from the unique white alligators to the extraordinary white tigers, Audubon Zoo has become one of the Gulf South’s favorite family gathering spots.
In addition to the amazing animals, exhibits, live animal presentations and hands-on animal encounters you can ride the Endangered Species Carousel, Simulator and Swamp Train. You can also shop in the zoo’s fabulous Audubon Marketplace gift shop.

NEW ORLEANS – The Greater New Orleans Autism Society of America will hold its annual Walk for Autism Awareness on Saturday, April 12 at La Salle Park located at 6600 Airline Dr. in Metairie.
Registration opens at 8 a.m. with the the walk to follow at 9:30 a.m.
Events include: music, food, children’s activities, a parade of prizes and a silent auction.
