Tigers, Wildcats place 20 on All-District Team

All-District 1st Team

David Baudry – Hahnville – Coach of the Year – Hahnville head coach David Baudry began his third season with Hahnville High School this season. His Tigers baseball team went 13-0 in the district winning their last 13 games in a row, advancing to the first round of the LHSAA playoffs. Prior to HHS, Coach Baudry coached at Rummel, Shaw and Jesuit High School. In the fall, he is the running backs coach for the HHS football team.

Brennan Breaud – All-District MVP – Destrehan senior Brennan Breaud hit .265  with 35 base hits and 20 RBI. This MVP is going south to play ball at Northwest Florida State College.

Austin Perrin – This Hahnville sophomore threw a staggering 69 strikeouts earning a 2.204 ERA. He finished with a 5-4 record.

Cole Martin – Destrehan junior pitcher who fired 58 strikeouts in 24 games earning a 1.351 ERA.

Braxton Dufrene – Hahnville junior utility man Braxton Dufrene hit .368 in 76 AB. Dufrene scored 15 runs and hit 19 RBI.

Connor Caminita – Destrehan senior Connor Caminita batted in 18 of his teammates and scored 27 runs.

Dane Simon – Destrehan sophomore Dane Simon hit .427 hitting 39 base hits, scoring 27 runs and 8 RBI.

Logan Billingsley – Hahnville junior Logan Billingsley came to the plate 98 times and scored 17 runs off 34 hits, with 24 RBI for an batting average of .347

Nick Pilutti – Destrehan senior Nick Pilutti hit 34 RBI. The senior hit .376 scoring 26 runs.

Mark Abate – Hahnville senior Mark Abate pitched 42.1 innings posting a 5-3 record. Abate threw 32 strikeouts and earned a 2.646 ERA.

Patrick Phelan –  Hahnville junior Patrick Phelan hit .286.  He scored 17 runs, and batted in 16 runs on 56 AB.

Waylon LeBlanc – Hahnville sophomore Waylon LeBlanc hit .308 scoring 28 runs off of 32 hits. LeBlanc also hit 10 RBI.

All District 2nd Team

Brandon Wild – Destrehan junior pitcher Brandon Wild threw 14 strikeouts from the mound and batted in 26 RBI from the plate.

Brad Aucoin – Hahnville sophomore Brad Aucoin hit .222 in 36 AB scoring five runs and five RBI.

Kohen Granier – Destrehan sophomore Kohen Granier got on base 22 times on 27 hits. He hit 15 RBI and scored 20 runs.

Brock Harrell – Hahnville senior Brock Harrell hit .260  scoring 28 runs on 25 hits and bringing in 14 RBI for second team honors.

Chase Bagot – Hahnville senior outfielder Chase Bagot hit .297 banging in 11 RBI and 14 runs to earn 2nd Team All-District honors.

Logan Babin – Destrehan senior Logan Babin threw 43 strikeouts from the mound and earned a 1.635 ERA.

Mason Candies – Hahnville sophomore Mason Candies hit .243 scoring 9 runs, 8 RBI in 37 AB to make All-District second team.

Logan Krajcer – Destrehan Senior Logan Krajcer hit 16 RBI, eight singles and seven doubles.
