The Hahnville Tiger’s handed Central Lafourche a 12-1 loss on Monday in district play. The Tigers scored eight runs in the first three innings, four of them in the first inning alone.
Hahnville Junior Logan Billingsley line drive singled to left field to score sophomore Waylon LeBlanc. Senior Chase Bagot doubled to left field batting in two runs by plating Miguez and Billingsley.
Junior Braxton Dufrene scored on a wild pitch before the end of the inning.
Two more runs came in in the top of the second as LeBlanc came across the dish for the second time off an Austin Perrin double to left field.
Billingsley grounded out to short, but not before junior Pat Phelan came across home plate for another run to put the Tigers up 6-1.
Central Lafourche scored one in the bottom of the first. The next six runs scored by te Tigers went unanswered by Central Lafourche. Hahnville’s Perrin recorded the win for the Tigers. He allowed one hit, no earned runs, walked two and struck out six.
