SCC SUMMER YOUTH FOOTBALL CAMP
SCC Youth Football Camp for 7-12 year old boys will run July 16 through July 20 from 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. under the direction of Coach Frank Monica.
St. Charles Catholic High School’s head football coach, Frank Monica was recognized by the Allstate Sugar Bowl and the Greater New Orleans Sports Hall of Fame as the Outstanding Prep Coach for the state of Louisiana. Monica led the St. Charles Catholic football team to its first state championship and to its first perfect (15-0) football season. Monica sees to it that his athletes excel both on the field and in the classroom as evidenced by the fact that the average ACT score of the 2011 Championship Football Team senior players was, in fact, above both the state and national averages.
Coach Frank Monica and his football staff will teach proper football fundamentals, weight training, and conduct speed drills. Special features include: Camp T-shirt; Hammer Award presented to camper each day; Comet ball games held daily with a Super Bowl Champion; and The Great Relay Race.
